Friendship is a Journey

 I've made the Background using the new Distress paints van Tim Holz and after that wetting the paper with a mister. This causes a better flow of colors.

 

Ik heb voor de achtergrond de nieuwe Distress Paints gebruiktvan Tim Holz. Nadien de achtergrond nat gemaakt met een mister. Dit zorgt voor een betere vermenging van de kleuren.

 

After the drying I stamped on the background with different stamps from Art Journey in the distress colours Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn. I've used the new template from the crafters workshop in combination with Distress Ink Frayed Burlap

 

Na het drogen heb ik op de achtergrond gestempeld met verschillende stempels van Art Journey in de kleuren distress inkt Peeled Paint en Mowed Lawn. Ik heb ook een nieuwe template gebruikt van de crafters workshop.in combinatie met distress inkt Frayed Burlap

 

 

I stamped in two Lines, two times the lace border from the sheet Friends and embossed it with gold embossingpowder. I cutted them out and placed them behind a stamped background border. The background panel is placed half over de lace borders. I placed a organza ribbon horizontal over this piece.

 

Ik heb de kant rand 2x gestempeld in twee lijnen en geembossed met goud embossingpoeder. Uitgeknipt en beiden half onder het achtergrond gedeelte geplakt. Ik heb een organza lintje horizontaal over dit gedeelte geplakt.

 

 

I stamped the Rose two times with Ancient Page Coal Black and coloured it in with distress ink.

I stamped the text and embossed it with gold embossingpowder. I cut the three panels in the same size and embossed the edges with gold embossingpowder. After that I mounted the three panels with foampads on a pink panel, and placed this section on the background. At the and I placed it on a off white aquarel Card.

Ik heb de roos 2x gestempeld met Ancient Page Coal Black en heb deze ingeleurd met distress inkten.
De tekst heb ik gestempeld en geembossed met goudembossingpoeder. Ik heb er drie evengrote paneeltjes van gesneden en de randen weer geembossed met goud embossingpoeder. Daarna heb ik ze met foamtape geplakt op een roze paneeltje en dit geheel weer geplakt op de achtergrond. Het geheel heb ik weer geplakt op een aquarel kaart.

Another card made with the new stampsheet from Art Journey Silhouette 2. Just like de previous card I wet the card first with a mister and then put distrss stains on it. Because it is still wet the colours will blend beautifully. After drying I used a template from The Crafters Workshop with the stars and different colours Distress Ink. Some parts are embossed with a glitter embossingpowder.

Nog een kaartje gemaakt met de geweldige nieuwe stempelsheet van Art Journey Silhoutte 2

Net zoals de voorgaande kart eerst weer de kaart nat gemaakt met een mister en daarop stains verwerkt. Doordat het papier nat is lopen de kleuren erg mooi in elkaar over. Na droging heb ik er de sterren van een template van The Crafters Workshop op verwerkt met distress inkt in verschillende kleuren en wat deeltjes geembossed met een glitterembossingpoeder.

 

 

I stamped the little dancer with Ancient Page Coal Black. The star behind her head I coloured and accentuated with Polychromo's from Faber Castell, so that it would lighten up n the background. The music keys I stamped randomly around the little dancer, and the text was stamped on a seperate piece of paper with Ancient Page Coal Black.

Ik heb het danseresje gestempeld met Ancient Page Coal Black. De ster achter het hoofdje in- en bij gekleurd met Faber Castell Polychrtomo's, zodat het oplicht in de achtergrond. De muzieksleutel willekeurig gestempeld rondom en de tekst op een apart stukje met zwarte inkt.

 

 

 

On the aquablue background I stamped the notes with Distress Ink Tumbled Galss en sponged the egdes with Distress Broken China

Op de aquablauwe achtergrond heb ik de muziekbalken gestempeld met Tumbled Glass en de randjes gesponst met Broken China

With the beautiful new Stamp sheet from Art Journey called Silhouette 2 I made this card. At first I wetted the paper with a mister and put distress stains on it. Because the paper is still wet the colours are blending in a beautiful way.

Met de prachtige nieuwe sheet van Art Journey Silhouette 2 heb ik deze kaart gemaakt.Voor de achtergrond heb ik eerst een papier nat gemaakt met een mister en daarop distress stains aangberacht.Doordat het papiet nat is vloeien de kleuren mooi in elkaar over.

 

 

After the drying I used a template from the Crafters Workshop with Distrss Ink to give some accents.

Na het drogen het ik met behulp van een stencil van de crafters workshop accenten aangebracht met distress inkt.

 

With Black Ink from Ancient page I stamped the Silhouette and the text, and also the branches with leaves from the sheet Inchies from Art Journey.

Met zwarte ancient page inkt heb ik de silhouette en de tekst gestempeld op de kaart evenals de takken van de sheet Inchies.

 

In the end I gave the card some gliter accents and glued it on an aqua blue card with the egde sponged with Distress Broken China. 

Tenslotte wat glitter accentjes aan gebracht en de kaart gemat op een aquablauwe kaart waarvan de randen zijn gesponst met distress inkt Broken China.

The beautiful waterdrop sheet from Art Journy instantly made me think of the boy in the watertub ;) This would be a great combination I thought.. ;)

De prachtige waterdruppel sheet van Art Journey deed me direct denken aan het jongetje in de teil. ;) Deze zouden perfect bij elkaar passen dacht ik.. ;)

 

I stamped the waterdrops with Distress Ink Broken China en I coloured them in with this Distress Ink and water.  After drying I filled them up with glossy Accents en let it dry for almost an hour.

 Ik stempelde de waterdruppels met Distress Ink Broken Chna en kleurde ze hiermee ook in met wat water. Nadat het droog was heb ik ze opgevuld met Glossy Accents en heb het ongeveer een uurtje laten drogen.

 

 

After the drying from the glossy Accents I sponged the whole background with Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Shipped Sapphire.

Na het drogen van deGlossy Accents heb ik de hele achtergrond gesponst met Distress Inkten: Tumbled Glass, Broken China en Chipped Sapphire.

 

 

I stamped the little boy with Ancient Page Coal Black and coloured it in with Distress Inks. Cut it out and glued it on the card.

Het jongetje heb ik gestempeld met Ancient Page Coal Black en ingekleurd met Distres Inkten. Uitgeknipt en op de kaart geplakt.

 



 

At last I stamped words, cut them out and glued them onto the card.

Tenslotte wat woordjes gestempeld en uitgeknipt en op de kaart geplakt.

With the new stampsheet from Art Journey Hands you have so many possibilities. For more inspiring ideas go have a look on the blogs from the other designteam members. I used the hands in combination with the man from Art Journey. This man figures as a teacher and the hands in the air are from the students ;) I stamped the hands en masked them, then I stamped the man and masked him aswell.The background was sponged with Scattered Straw, Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge.

Met de nieuwe stempel sheet van Artjourney Hands heb je veel mogelijkheden. Kijk ook eens op de blogs van de mede designteamleden wat zij ermee hebben gedaan. Ik heb de handen gebruikt in combinatie met de man. Deze heb ik dan de rol gegeven van teacher.. en de handen in de lucht fungeren als die van leerlingen. ;) . Handen eerst gestempeld en afgedekt. Daarna de man en deze ook afgedekt.  De achtergrond in gesponst met Scattered Straw, Wild Honey en Rusty Hinge.

The panel matted on black cardstock en teared at the bottom, and then onto the card.

 Het kaartje gemat op zwart en de onderrand gescheurd, en vervolgens op de kaart geplakt.

With the beautiful new sheet from Art Journey ROSES 2, I've made this Card. I stamped the tile with Versamark on red paper and embossed it with Red Glitter Embossingpowder from Judikins. I cut the tiles out and matted them on black paper, and glued this panel onto a red standing Card.

Met de prachtige nieuwe sheet van Art Journey Roses 2 heb ik deze kaart gemaakt.

Het tegeltje ik heb gestempeld op rood papier met Versamark en bestrooid met embossingpoeder Glitzer Rot van Judikins en dit verhit. Ik heb ze apart uitgesneden en gemat op zwart papier. Vervolgens als paneeltje op geplakt op de rode staande kaart.

 

 

 I stamped the panel below with the roses, from the sheet Beautiful Roses, with aged Mahogany.( it doesn;t show well in the picture.) Over the background of the roses I stamped the text with black Ink. 

Het onderste paneeltje heb ik bestempeld met de rozen van de sheet Beautiful Roses met Aged Mahogany. Op de foto is het wat slecht te zien. Daaroverheen de tekst gestempeld met zwarte inkt.

Met de prachtige stempels van Stampendous ( te koop bij Art Journey ) heb ik deze kaart gemaakt. Ik heb de stempel Hydrangea Bunch geembossed in een goudkleur en daarna met een aquarel techniek ingekleurd met Distress inkten. De swirl op de achtergrond is ook van Stampendous en komt van de stempel Peony. De tekst is van Art Journey van de sheet Tree. Een dubbel lintje achter het stempelkaartje met de kaart af.

 

With the beautiful stamps of Stampendous ( for Sale at Art Journey ) I made this Card. I stamped the Hydrangea Bunch with Veramark en embossed it with gold embossingpowder. I did a watercolourtechnique with Distress Inks. The swirl on the background is also from Stampendous and it comes from the stampset Peony. The text is from the Art Journey sheet Tree. A double ribbon behind the panel finishes the card.
