Art Journey Challenge # 41 Scrapling

 

 

 

Voor de Challenge nummer 41 maakte ik dit.De opdracht was om een scrapling te maken.

For the Challenge # 41  "Scrapling" I've made this one.

 

Ik heb gewerkt op aqaurel papier en heb 4 kleuren distress inkt gebruikt. Daarnaast gebruik gemaakt van een template van crafters workshop ( te koop bij Art Journey )

I started with watercolourpaper and 4 colours Distress Ink. Also I used a template from tehe crafters worshop. ( for sale at Art Journey )

De gebruikte stempels komen allemaal van de Art Journey sheet Writing.

Art Journey Challenge Nr 37: Vintage

for te Challenge nr. 37: Vintage

 

Voor de Challenge van deze maand heb ik gebruik gemaakt van een oude techniek: de ghost techniek. De eerste stempels gestempeld op wit papier met witte inkt Frost White van Colorbox.

De kantrand van de sheet Friends 1x, 4x de takken in de bovenste hoeken van de sheet Writing en hier en daar de lijntjes van de sheet Pages. Alles goed droog geblazen met de heattool. Daarna bracht ik royaal 3 andere kleuren pigment inkt aan, (direkt vanuit het stempelkussen) van Colorbox : Dune, Dusty Plum en Smoke Blue. De overtollige inkt veeg je nu weg met een stukje keukenrol en dan komt de resist weer tevoorschijn.

 

For the Challenge of this montheI used an old Technique, The Ghost Technique. At first I stamped my stamps on white paper with White ink: Frost White from Colrbox. The Laceborder from the sheet Friends1x, 4x the Acanthus leaf from the sheet Writing in the upper corners, and some lines from the sheet Pages. After that I dried everything well with a heattool. Then I brought on ink generous directly from the inkpad over the stamped images. I used Colorbox pigment ink in the colours Dune, Dusty Plum and Smoke Blue. After that I wipep off the ink with a paper towel and the resist will appear

 

 

Vervolgens heb ik met Versafine Vintage Sepia de takken van de sheet Tree gestempeld en ook de tekst van de sheet Text heb ik er hiermee schuin op gezet.

 

After that I stamped the branches from the sheet Tree and also stamped the text a bit diagonal with Versafine Ink Vintage Sepia

 

 

De stempel Diva is gestempeld met Versafine Vintage Sepia en ingekleurd met distress brush markers en een waterpenseel. Het randje van het paneeltje subtiel geembossed met goud embossingpoeder.

 

The Stamp Diva was stamped also with Versafine Vintage Sepia en I coloured it with the distress markers from Tim Holz with a waterbrush. The edges were subtle embossed with gold embossingpowder.

 

 

En een pareltje als oorbel maakt het geheel af. Het panneeltje opgeplakt met foamtape.

 A little pearl as a earring completed it and the pannel was raised with foamtape.

Challenge # 32 Ripped or Torn Paper

 

Just Because . . .

 

A New Month means a new Challenge. Ellen picked the theme for this month's Challenge: Ripped or Torn Paper. You can find very inspiring ideas on the Art Journey Designteam Blog.

Een nieuwe maand betekend een nieuwe uitdaging en Ellen heeft het thema voor deze maand gekozen: Scheuren. Je kunt meer mooie inspirende voorbeelden vinden op het designteamblog van Art Journey.

 

I've made the Background by first wetting Watercolour paper with a Mister and after that putting on Distress stains. This causes a nice flow of colors. They all blend in in eachother. I put a little holografic embossing powder here and there and then dried it all with a heatgun.

Ik heb de achtergrond gemaakt door eerst aquarel papier nat te maken met een mister en daarna distress stains aan te brengen. Dit zorgt ervoor dat de kleuren mooi in elkaar vloeien. Ik heb hier en daar wat holografisch embossingpoeder gestrooit en daar de boel gedroogd met een heatgun.

 

After the drying I torned different strips of paper. At the largest piece a left the edges coloured by tearing the paper I didn't use backwards away.  On this peace I stamped the swirl from the sheet Writing with Distress ink Pine Needles.

Na het drogen heb ik verschillende strookjes gescheurd. Van het grotere strookje heb ik de scheurrandjes gekleurd gelaten door het papier dat ik niet nodig had naar achteren af te scheuren. Hierop heb ik de swirl gestemepld met Distress Inkt Pine Needles.

 

On the smallest strip on top I stamped the alphabet lines from the sheet Pen Nib. Here I wanted to see the torn edge, and thatswhy I teared the paper I didn't want to use forwards to me.

Op de smalle strip bovenop heb ik de alfabetlijnen gestempeld van de sheet Pen Nib. Hier wilde ik wel de scheurranden zien en daarom heb ik het papier dat ik niet nodig had naar me toe getrokken.

 

 

I stamped the hand, also from the sheet Writing, on a seperate paper and cut it out en coloured it in with distress inks. I stamped the text Just because ( from the sheet Nature ) with Distress Ink Pine Needles. Then I glued these two items onto the card. At the end I teared the bottom of the card en glued a different part on the inside of the Card.

De hand (ook van de sheet writing) heb ik gestempeld op een apart papiertje, ingekleurd met distress inkt en uitgeknipt. De tekst Just Because ( van de sheet Nature) heb ik gestempeld met Distress Ink Pine Needles. Daarna heb ik deze twee elementen op de kaart geplakt. Tot slotte heb ik van de bodem van de kaart et randje afgescheurd en een aparte strook binnen in de kaart geplakt.
